Proxy MTG & Pokémon Card Store

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are proxy cards?

Proxy cards are unofficial replicas of real trading cards. They are often used for casual play, testing decks, or as collectibles. They are not tournament legal, but many players enjoy using them in home games or with friends.

Are these proxy cards legal?

Proxy cards are intended for personal use and are not legal for official tournament play. They are meant for casual play, deck building, or collecting. It’s your responsibility to make sure proxies are allowed in your playgroup.

What materials are the cards made from?

Our proxy cards are printed on high-quality cardstock with a smooth finish to simulate the look and feel of real MTG and Pokémon cards. They shuffle well and fit into standard sleeves.

Can I use these proxies in my local game store?

It depends on your local store’s policy. Some casual playgroups and stores allow proxies during non-tournament games, but it’s best to ask the store owner or event organizer first.

How accurate are the card designs?

Our cards aim to closely resemble the originals in layout and artwork, but with slight differences to ensure they are not mistaken for authentic cards. These small adjustments also help distinguish proxies from counterfeits.

Will proxies damage my sleeves or other cards?

No. Our proxies are printed on safe, smooth cardstock and will not damage sleeves or other cards in your deck. We always recommend sleeving any cards—real or proxy—for maximum protection.

Do you offer custom proxy designs?

Not for MTG cards, but for certain Pokemon cards we might. Please contact customer service for more info.

How do I store or care for my proxy cards?

Treat proxy cards the same way you would real cards—store them in a dry place, use card sleeves, and keep them away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
